Vacancy: HR Assistant (24-30 hours per week)

To ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, we are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant. In this versatile position, you will be the contact person for employees and managers and you will contribute to a pleasant and professional working environment. You will have the space to show your own initiative and really make a difference within our team.
What are you going to do?
As an HR Associate, you will support all facets of the HR process – from recruitment to attrition. Your range of duties is broad and challenging:
- Coordinate recruitment and selection;
- Monitor hours worked, leave and sick leave;
- Support for inflow, advancement and outflow of employees;
- Processing mutations in the personnel system;
- Sick leave registration and counseling;
- Facilitate training and education in consultation with the department head;
- Maintain contact with educational institutions for internships and apprenticeships;
- Identify bottlenecks and take improvement actions;
- Answering employee questions and advising supervisors;
- Keeping procedures and company regulations up to date;
- Organize staff meetings such as the quarterly meeting and Christmas party;
- And other HR-related tasks on behalf of the GM or human resources officer.
Who are you?
- You have a completed HR education or relevant work experience as an HR professional;
- Affinity for hospitality;
- HR knowledge and experience (employment law and HR processes);
- You communicate strongly in both Dutch and English (oral and written);
- You work accurately, are proactive and think in solutions.
- Be able to handle confidential information
- Knowledge and affinity with HR systems
